Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information you provide when you sign up, such as your name and email address.
• Wellness information you choose to enter, including your intake answers, symptoms, goals, cycle logs, weight entries, habits, journal entries, workout logs, and any lab documents you upload.
• Coaching conversations you have with the AI coach, and posts or comments you share in the community.
• Payment information processed by our billing provider. We do not store your full card details.
• Usage information such as basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide and personalize your coaching experience.
• To generate educational guidance through the AI coach and lab education based on what you share.
• To process your membership and payments.
• To keep the Service secure and to support you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third party advertising.

Service providers we use

We share information only with trusted providers that help us run the app, and only as needed to provide the Service:

• Clerk for secure sign in, account management, and billing through its payment processor.
• Supabase for our database and private file storage. Your lab uploads are stored privately and are accessible only through your own account.
• Anthropic to power the AI coach and lab education. The information you submit is processed to generate a response and is not used by the provider to train its models.

Your health information

Reclaimed is a wellness coaching product, not a medical provider, and the information here is not a medical record covered by HIPAA. Information you enter is kept private to your account and used to support your coaching. The community wall is visible to other members, so only share there what you are comfortable making visible. You can edit or delete most entries at any time inside the app, and you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

Lab results and sensitive health data

If you choose to upload lab results, we treat this as sensitive health information and apply additional protections:

• Lab documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage. They are not publicly accessible and can only be retrieved through your authenticated account.
• Your explicit consent is required before uploading. You confirm at the time of upload that you understand how your data is used.
• AI-generated education based on your labs is stored in your account and visible only to you and authorized Her Wellness Reclaimed staff.
• You can delete any lab document and its associated education at any time from the Labs page in the app. Deletion removes both the file and all associated data permanently.
• Lab data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest via our storage provider.
• We do not share your lab documents with any third party except Anthropic, which processes the file solely to generate your educational response and does not retain or train on your data.

AI-generated education text associated with uploaded labs may be automatically cleared after 90 days of account inactivity. Your original uploaded files are not affected by this and remain in your account until you delete them.

GDPR — Rights for users in the European Economic Area

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure — You can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no legitimate reason for us to continue holding it.
• Right to restriction — You can ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability — You can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object — You can object to processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests as our legal basis.
• Right to withdraw consent — Where we process data based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Our legal basis for processing your personal data is the performance of our contract with you (providing the Service) and, where applicable, your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@herwellnessreclaimed.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

CCPA — Rights for California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights:

• Right to know — You can request details about the personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you.
• Right to delete — You can request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to opt out of sale — We do not sell your personal information. You do not need to opt out.
• Right to non-discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

To make a CCPA request, email us at info@herwellnessreclaimed.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 45 days.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, security, and operational needs, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion sooner at any time.

International data transfers

Our services are operated in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service you consent to this transfer. Where required by law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign in and security, provided through Clerk. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Essential cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. By using the Service you consent to essential cookies being set.

Security

We use reputable providers and access controls so that each member can only reach her own data. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

Children

Reclaimed is intended for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice within the app.
